The Tignna Suite exudes brightness with ample windows and a good balcony overlooking the interior courtyard, a perfect spot for relaxation. Breakfast served on the rooftop terrace included fresh fruit and pastries.
Noise from the courtyard can be intrusive, especially during mornings and late evenings, which could impact relaxation. Some rooms have maintenance issues, like broken lights and weak window latches that detract from the overall comfort and ambiance.

Had thoroughly enjoyable stay for 1 night. The hotel has easy location very close to lovely restaurants and lots of great shops close by. Luckily it was close to Tara Cafe, had pastries there when it was cold outside.

Very tasty breakfasts! And the owners have a dog called Eddie, sometimes he came to the riad! a very good dog! I even miss him! The staff is very kind and friendly! We also liked the bathroom in two rooms (we rented two rooms). I want to go there again))

The breakfast was amaze-balls 🍳 Plus, the jacuzzi and rooftop area were fab. The only downside was that our room was a tad dusty. A lovely stay!

The design of the Riad Dar Maya stands out with its modern and elegant decor. The rooftop terrace offered a relaxing atmosphere. I especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast served at flexible hours, giving me the freedom to start my day on my own terms. The staff were really good in their attentiveness and hospitality, contributing significantly to the overall experience. Noise from the interior courtyard could be heard during early mornings and late nights, impacting the tranquility of my stay. Some lights in my room were broken, which detracted from the otherwise charming ambiance. The location is conveniently central.

The rooftop terrace was the perfect spot to soak up the sun and enjoy a lavish breakfast of fresh fruit, pastries, and Moroccan delights. Staying with my teens was easy! The heated rooftop plunge pool was a hit, and we loved having breakfast up there with fine views between the white minarets of Essaouira. Gareth and his team were warm.
My kids wished for more activities nearby.

What makes it worth it, and what doesn't
Luxurious rooftop terrace with a hot tub was blissful after our long walks. The staff were accommodating, arranged everything from transport to good meals. Breakfast was good with fresh, seasonal offerings.
Rooms can be quite dark, which might not suit everyone's taste. Accessing some areas can feel a bit awkward due to layout, requiring careful navigation for comfort.
